Our rubber tree tie, with a width of 3.8 cm, is suitable for helping small and medium-sized trees to grow well. The tree tie, measuring 60 cm in length, keeps the tree upright as it grows and also promotes root development in young trees. Young trees can establish roots in the soil more effectively with a tree tie. If you don't use a tree tie and it frequently blows strongly, the new roots can break, because the tree moves back and forth — and this also happens unseen below ground. This way your young tree can grow into a healthy, mature tree.
Support your tree for 2–3 growing seasons with our tree ties. For smaller fruit trees in sheltered locations, we recommend using at least one tree tie. Position the tree stake in the direction the wind usually comes from. For trees that grow taller we recommend two tree ties. In windy locations, use three tree ties; with a triangular arrangement your tree will better withstand the wind in exposed areas.
